RCD secretary general confers with Polish ambassador in Tunis
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- Constitutional Democratic Rally (RCD) General Secretary Mohamed Ghariani had a talk, on Thursday, with Mr. Krzysztof Olendzki, ambassador of Poland to Tunisia.
The meeting allowed to review progress of the excellent friendship relations binding Tunisia and Poland and to reassert joint will to further strengthen bilateral co- operation, develop its fields, notably at the economic and party levels, and reinforce partnership prospects with the European Union and within the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The RCD secretary general highlighted the important civilizational gains of Tunisia, thanks to President Ben Ali’s avant-garde choices, stressing, in the context, the Rally’s crucial role in boosting Tunisia’s progress and enhancing its radiance.
Poland’s ambassador, for his part, hailed the honorable advances that Tunisia accomplished thanks to President Ben Ali’s clear-sighted policy, emphasizing the solidity of the two countries’ relations and their mutual determination to vitalize them and hoist them to the highest levels, in the service of the two countries’ interests.

Report on MBC delayed again
Professor Ved Prakash Torul, president of the Conciliation and Mediation Commission (CCM) has once again requested an extension from the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment for the submission of the report.
He was supposed to submit the report on Thursday. The professor said that given the amount of work left to do, it is impossible to submit it immediately.
He announced that he will submit this document with recommendations to the minister Shakeel Mohammed by early November.
Moreover, he said that in addition to submitting the report on the MBC, it also has another commitment to the CCM which is taking time. This report should have been submitted on September 30, but professor Torul requested for an extension.The commission has to make an inventory of the industrial relations prevailing in the national television station.
The committee followed the code of practice under the law of the Employment Relations Act. The professor said that the commission has done extensive work which was quite complex. He also had hearings with the unions of the MBC, the top management and other persons from September 13 to 17.
